Rise slowly, meditate, do some yoga, catch up on some reading. Entrance to the Joshua Tree National Park is just a 7 minute drive, for memorable hikes, rock climbing, fauna & flora exploration.
The unique vibrant Joshua Tree little strip of shops is a short 7 minute drive: gem store, yoga studio, coffee roaster saloon, organic café.
ALL OPEN FLAME FIRES ARE PROHIBITED. NO STOVES, FIREPITS OR BONFIRES.
We have a team member nearby if any issues arise.
Please embrace the vast land available to you on the property, however we ask that you do remain within the perimeter of this idyllic backyard: you can wander all the way towards the edge of the flat area downhill ahead of the Airstream, and all along the wild edge onto the right leading to the flat area.
There is a house on the property that is also used as a guest space. The Airstream and the House have their own facilities and are separated by a fence.

November 2020All I can say is wow! This airstream getaway will absolutely blow your mind. Joe, Chris, and the whole Ensemble crew were always quick to respond (within seconds) and did an outstanding job putting this property together.. The airstream is fitted out with everything you need, from the air-conditioning and cooking appliances (they have everything!) , to the beautiful little touches everywhere with the interior, there’s nothing that beats this airstream.. I promise!! The en suite bathroom with an outdoor AND indoor shower are phenomenal as well. I highly recommend you get there before sunset on your first day because you will be absolutely blown away by the view you have sitting on your two wooden rocking chairs overlooking beautiful Joshua Tree. And if you didn’t think the sunset was enough… Wake up right before sunrise with a cup of coffee from the French press and get ready for one of the craziest sunrises you’ve ever seen as well. All around, my girlfriend and I could not have asked for a better trip, and we cannot wait to get back to this slice of heaven! This place is brand new so I highly recommend you get on it fast, because word will get out! It was a pleasure being the first guests at this airstream. November 2020Such a lovely place! Great for couples to stay at. Everything is provided for you, so you don’t have to worry about forgetting anything at home! The place was easy to find too. I heard we were the first ones to stay there, so there’s no reviews. At first I was scared that it is a scam but when I saw the place, it looked exactly like the pictures and it was much better than I expected! Wifi works great, hot water is hot enough too. So don’t worry about not having hot water over there. Kitchen was big enough for me to cook dinner for two. There were chairs outside where you can sit and look at stars at night. It is located in a neighborhood but you can’t really see other houses so you have your privacy.

November 2020My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience here! We happened to come on a very cold and windy weekend and the heater inside the airstream worked wonders. It is located in a its own private corner behind the main house and is complete with many thoughtful touches such as maps/guides, outdoor blankets, and French press + local coffee. We were pleasantly surprised that there was also a half bathroom inside in addition to the full bathroom outside. Communication was fast using the app and the self check-in process was easy and straightforward. The weather cleared up on our last day so we were able to catch the beautiful desert sunrise. I highly recommend this place to others and hope to be back again sometime in the summer!

November 2020I cannot say enough good things about the space and the hospitality from the host! It was my first time staying in an airstream and it could not be more perfect. The location is ideal for getting to the park in about 10 minutes or heading to a bunch of restaurants and shops less than 10 minutes away. I can’t wait to go back!

November 2020This is a great spot...exactly as it is pictured. Very convenient for going to Joshua Tree National Park. The Airstream has everything you need and the additional bathroom/shower is awesome. It was a cold night but the heating worked great! The site is very quiet and relatively isolated (there is one home next door but other than that, other properties in the area are spread out). Communication and responsiveness was excellent. We look forward to returning in the near future and have recommended it to many of our friends already.

November 2020This is great place to stay if you’re doing a short trip into Joshua Tree NP. Just a 10 minute drive from here and you’re in the park. Close to the city as well. Just a to note the last part of the drive to get to this place is a dirt road but not too bad. Overall good experience and great communication with the ensemble team.

November 2020The moment I got out of the car I knew I had chosen well. Exquisite, complete quiet. As I walked to the Airstream I was greeted by that magnificent view across the little valley. I spent three days on the patio chairs just savoring this place. WiFi is rock solid, so I was able to easily stream Native American flute. Believe me, it is the absolute perfect accompaniment for this spot. Inside the Airstream: Sparkling clean. Tastefully decorated. Excellent appliances And the outdoor shower is an absolute joy. The high point for me, however was just kickin' back on the patio, reading, mind wandering, savoring day turning to dusk, dusk to night. I appreciated the privacy. In three days I didn't see a single person. The Ensemble folks have put a lot of work into making the Desert Airstream a welcome, wonderful escape from the din of 21st century life. They've succeeded mightily. I only had 3 short days, Next time will be longer.

Tip: when you are getting there, follow the directions provided by the host and don’t follow the google maps (cuz it’ll lead you to a huge dip in the off-road part) and bring your SUV if possible

It’s in a good area with no one around there is a house literally next door which is a few steps away but no one lives there. The out door shower is amazing! I showered there in 50 degree weather and it was awesome. It is very clean and at night you have a great view of the stars. Also, new Jeep owner so I was excited that it was thru a dirt road to get there so that was also fun.

December 2020AMAZING experience. The AirStream is clean, modern, and decorated nicely. It comes with a stove, microwave and mini fridge. All operate on solar power, so use wisely and sparingly. Running water as well, and a toilet inside if you don't want to use the disconnected bathroom. Area for eating inside as well as dishes and cutlery. The bed is comfortable and fits 2 adults fine. Outside there are two lounge rocking chairs and a table and grille. We prepped food and brought with us and used the grille which was perfect. There is an outdoor shower and indoor closed bathroom and shower disconnected from the airstream. It is next door to someones home, but there is a nice wooden wall and you honestly cannot tell anyone is over there or hear them. I found this really lovely but it irritated my hubby at times, there were windchimes and it was a windy nice so there was a great melody. I supposed you could take them down if they bug you that much. Beautiful place and experience, will certainly stay here again. And a short, 5 minute drive, to Joshua Park National Park entrance. Great location! Bottom of the hill, Joshua Tree tavern, to grab some drinks!

December 2020We had such a wonderful time. The location is very special with great desert views and super close to the Joshua Tree park entrance. The Airstream has more space than we expected and was perfect for us. The dining table was great to have dinner and we enjoyed our morning coffee outside staring at the desert, what a treat! We were able to really disconnect and feel so close to nature. We enjoyed the breathtaking sky full of stars and the amazing colors at sunset and sunrise. Special mention of the outdoor shower which is a really unique experience. There's also a comfortable built-in bathroom with shower and toilet which makes the experience very comfortable. The Hosts were super caring and responsive. It was a truly memorable experience, we highly recommend staying there if you're lucky to find some open dates!

December 2020The airstream was just as we expected. Very cozy and perfect for those looking for a glamping experience. We spent a good amount of time exploring Joshua Tree National Park balanced with quality time at the Airbnb. The only two things I would note 1) rough dirt road heading to the Airbnb 2) slow wifi. However, we were warned about the road condition by the host as well as other reviewers. We were able to make it alright in my low sedan so it wasn’t an issue. As for the wifi...take this opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors and the airstream! I would definitely come back again when the weather is warmer.

It is extremely clean and from what I was able to see they adhered strict cleaning protocol making me feel safe. The outdoor shower is amazing and it makes you feel so refreshed afterwards. Our stay at the Airstream was comfortable beyond expectations, warm (in January!), easy, cozy, quiet, and magical. We totally used the outdoor shower - it's such a unique experience! Cooking our own meals was a breeze. There was plenty of hot water. Sunrises and sunsets were spectacular. The hosts communicate really fast. The area is quiet and very safe. All in all, loved it. Everything is even better than in the photos!

February 2021Let me just start with how serene this place is. Neighbors are distant, perfect place to relax and have some peace and quiet away from the city. And wow I loved the aesthetic details including the outdoor shower ! The whole place was extra clean and smelled like Eucalyptus which made us feel closer to nature. The airstream is decent for a couple or a couple and a small child and has a lot of space to put your belongings. My family and I had a great time. We enjoyed watched all the stars at the end of the night. We will be planning to come back !

The heater in the airstream works really well, so cold nights were very cozy inside, and the grill was delicious way to cook out! All amenities were as expected, from grill supplies to seasoning for cooking. Just be mindful to bring your own paper towels or napkins! Also, definitely arrive before dark, the road to the airstream could be tricky to navigate if you don’t have daylight. I absolutely will come again, it was a perfect little getaway! Can’t wait for next time!

This was my first time staying in an airstream and will definitely do it again! The only downside was the phone service was a bit sketch (I have ATT , so...), but the WiFi was great. March 2021This Airstream was perfect for us. The location was private, but not totally secluded. The view was great. Sunrise shine every morning and outdoor shower was a wonderful addition. There is an indoor shower and bathroom if outdoor shower isn’t your thing. Plenty of amenities and everything you’d need for a upgraded camping experience. The road in is a bit of a bumpy one so make sure you’re prepared and follow the instructions given. Close to west park entrance. Overall, definitely recommend and would stay again!!

March 2021We loved it! The most convenient & cozy “camping” experience. Every detail is taken care of- local roasted coffee & a heavenly outdoor shower are major highlights! Close enough to both Joshua Tree town & park entrance, but far enough to have some privacy and quiet. The only thing worth mentioning- this rental backs up to a home that is currently being built/renovated (March 2021). The workers left shortly after our arrival and we never thought about it again, but when I booked the photos and reviews didn’t lead me to expect company or neighbors of any kind.

April 2021This place is beautiful and in an amazing location. The view of Joshua tree and landscape was beautiful and especially waking up in the morning watching the sunrise. There is a great bathroom outside the airstream with a full bath and another outdoor shower. The bathroom in the airstream also does work as well. The bed was comfortable and airstream was clean. Just a bit of warning, driving down the unpaved road is a bit bumpy so I would suggest to make sure you don't use a car too close to the ground. Otherwise it is nice and remote. We did run into a little bit of a snag during our stay but the host was VERY quick to respond and resolve the issue quickly. I would highly recommend.

May 2021This is a lovey little getaway off the beaten path (quite literally!) You’ll have to traverse some rugged unpaved roads to reach the trailer. The house next door was not initially part of the listing when we booked but the hosts did reach out in advance to let us know the house next door would now be booked. It wasn’t a huge deal, but the trailer isn’t completely isolated. You may share some common spaces with the other guests (yoga TP and leisure area down away from the trailer). The immediate area outside of the trailer is mostly private but only divided by some wooden fencing. During our stay, we had a bit of a random happenstance with the older trailer we stayed in. The refrigerator needed to be reset to properly work. During our last night we accidentally snapped off the plastic lever that controls the lock, while we were locked inside! Luckily their handyman, Chris, came to our rescue within about 30 minutes! Overall it was a terrific stay, very quiet and very relaxing. The bath-house was a savior during this trip. Very nice to have a built out shower and bathroom to use on the edge of a huge natural park.

May 2021I've always wanted to stay in an Airstream and Ensemble exceeded all of my expectations. Not only is it beyond close to the park which makes it easy to go in and out and escape the heat for a while, but their space was so well equipped and adorable. Their outdoor shower was awesome. The bed was extremely comfortable. There is plenty of space so you don't feel on top of eachother. And the stars at night are truly breathtaking. We had the best stay and I would absolutely stay here again!

July 2021This place was amazing! Finding the place was not difficult at all but it was a really bumpy ride once you hit the dirt road. The view and the outdoor shower def made our quick little getaway! There is plenty of seating/lounging on the patio to enjoy meals, relax and just take in the views. There is a rental house just on the other side of the wood wall but during our stay we didn't hear or see anyone out there. Only problem we had was the toilet inside the airstream was out of order (which we were told the morning of check in). There is a full bath/shower right outside the airstream but a little inconvenient if you need to go late at night (and a little scary lol). Other than that everything was perfect! Complimentary coffee and outdoor blankets were a nice touch.

July 2021Clean airstream but strong smell, it smelled like men body odor. I tried to air out the airstream but the smell never went away. Bathroom does not work in the airstream but they have an additional bathroom outside that looks pretty brand new. The bathroom was a bit hot and stuffy inside so we just showered outside.

July 2021This is a fun and unique stay way out in the desert!!! With a stunning sunrise and sunset, tons of interesting wildlife to see, convenient proximity to the park, and only 40 min from Palm Springs this is a perfect place for a weekend getaway. I think the only caution I have if you are particularly heat sensitive is that the camper did get quite warm during the daytime (which makes sense in the stifling dummer heat) However it cooled off once the sun went down and was very comfortable!

Even after reading their good reviews, the whole experience exceeded my expectations A well appointed, easy to use space. This airstream has been perfectly renovated for beautiful living! It is surprisingly spacious-feeling inside. There is an absolutely lovely feel to everything, from the dried eucalyptus leaves decorating the bathroom down to the lighting. Lovely wooden deck chairs let you perfectly enjoy the beautiful sunrise with a cup of the Joshua Tree Coffee provided for you. (You can also enjoy the sunrise while showering in the delightful outdoor shower! There is an indoor shower option as well.) You are right up against the hills and there is plenty of wildlife to see just walking around the neighborhood without even entering the park. I just really liked the feel of this place, I wish the decorators could come do my house!

The airstream was super chic and did not feel tight at all for 2 people. The drive in was a true desert road experience so I would recommend finding your way before it gets too dark. Indoor bathroom is out of order but outdoor bathroom and open shower worked for us. We visited in Aug so it was kinda hot but Ac inside Airstream kept the day and night both cool. Only one small issue: the bed was not made properly and sheets seemed used. Rest everything was perfect and we enjoyed our stay. Charles is extremely helpful and there in case you need anything.

You are close to stores, about 15 minutes, and in a "neighborhood," but once you lay down on one of the patio chairs, it's peaceful and quiet. Nighttime was spectacular with a clear sky. We spent two nights here and we wanted to stay longer. We can't wait to go back and make it part of our itinerary in CA again.

Yet the amenities are wonderful and modern. If you’re new to Joshua Tree, try to visit the visitor center FIRST because you can then drive straight to the park entrance after leaving the Airstream. The visitor center is actually further away from the park entrance than the airstream is. Hope that makes sense.

The Airstream was clean and restored (except for the bathroom), but I appreciated the separate full shower bathroom along side the Airstream since we're weren't roughing it anyway. The neighborhood roads are small and unpaved, so I highly recommend you download the map and check-in before sunset because it gets dark (great for stargazing).

There was everything we needed to cook and grill at home and the closeness to the Park was unbelievable. The only downside is having to run 10 feet in the cold for a late night pee, but this downside is more than made up for by being able to shower outside in the sunny mornings. Would definitely come again.

The area was so peaceful and it was amazing to wake up and enjoy the early morning view. It’s only about a 10 minute drive to the Joshua Tree National Park. Loved the outdoor shower too. The communication was superb right from the beginning. I wasn’t going to get there until late evening so they made sure the outdoor lights were on for me. I was even contacted by Charles that my son left his hat there and we were able to go back and get it before leaving town. Two sitting and two lounging chairs were perfect for breakfast on the patio and then sunning or stargazing. The location is private and quiet. It is relaxing how secluded and untouched the area is. One thing to keep in mind is that the road from the open road to the airstream (most other Airbnbs are located at similar environment) is a bit rocky, so make sure to drive suitable car for the type of road. March 2022I stayed at this adorable nugget as a very last minute, single night on my own the night before I flew home to Canada at the end of a 2 week Cali roadtrip and it was the perfect way to end my trip. My only regret is not being able to share it with someone! The listing pics are very accurate but don’t do justice to the actual beauty of the surrounding landscape and the INCREDIBLE wide open starry night sky. Communication was extremely quick and clear and the space was very clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Definitely plan to arrive before dark to navigate the way there and I highly recommend setting your alarm to catch sunrise with a VIP view. One night wasn’t enough and hope to return one day with a partner as Joshua Tree is one of my fav spots to visit.

All my friends have seen our pics and can’t wait to go. Just be prepared that to get there you travel a dirt road.

The sky lit up with stars at night and we had a great stargazing experience! We also were provided with very clear directions to get to the location which was immensely helpful.

April 2023This is the perfect spot to relax and rejuvenate, if you're visiting Joshua Tree National Park. The location couldn't be more convenient to the park entrance. The airstream is clean and has all of the necessary amenities. The restroom and shower are private and located directly next to the camper (also clean and fully stocked). The directions given by the host are clear and concise.

I would go back. Be warned though, the dirt roads getting to the location get be a bit bumpy. But that’s part of the experience.

June 2023Amazing! The stay here was a highlight of our trip. We saw more wildlife here - jackrabbits, quail, hummingbirds- than in the park and all while sitting on the patio. It was ideal for stargazing; the chairs and blankets provided by the hosts made for the perfect set-up. This was our first time staying in an RV, which ended up being larger and more comfortable than we were imagining. The bed fit two very comfortably. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

September 2023Beautiful stay in an iconic Airstream very close to the entrance to Joshua Tree NP and the awesome shops/restaurants at the corner of Park Blvd and 29 Palms highway. The interior was stylish, realy comfy bed, very clean, and we loved the outdoor shower option. The highlight though is the breathtaking views, local flora and fauna. All communication with our hosts was quick and clear - everything was very easy! What a magical and special place J.T Nat Park is. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on a future visit - highly recommended!!

September 2023Wer auf der Suche nach einem kleinen Abenteuer an einem außergewöhnlichen Ort ist, der ist hier genau richtig. Die Lage des Airstreams auf einem Hügel am Eingang des Parks ist super. Man hat einen sensationellen Blick von der riesigen Terrasse aus auf die Weiten der Wüste und insbesondere einen atemberaubenden Sternenhimmel nachts. Der Camper hat aber alle Annehmlichkeiten, sodass man sich dort wohlfühlt. Wenn man nachts Angst hat um aufs Klo raus ins Freie zur Aussentoilette zu müssen, dann ist man hier nicht richtig. Für mich war es während meines Roadtrips ein absolutes Highlight!

October 2023Our first time staying the night in Joshua Tree and my husband and I loved it! The vintage Airstream was such a cute, retro take on a place to stay and we fell in love right away. We loved the option of having both an indoor shower and an outdoor shower as well as the beautiful, peaceful views and surroundings when we were relaxing out on the chairs. The Airstream was cozy enough for the 2 of us and the nook/seating area was perfect for having our morning cup of coffee. The Airstream is located less than 10 mins away from downtown Joshua Tree where lots of local shops and restaurants can be found. Thank you for such a memorable Joshua Tree experience!

The little details were what set this place apart - from blankets on the patio chairs for comfortable stargazing to the yoga mats (which we used to do sunset yoga on the patio) to the fully stocked kitchen with outdoor gas grill. We loved every minute of our time spent here and would love to come back someday.

True nature/dessert experience and very responsive host :) The camper door glitched and locked us out while we star gazed so be sure to keep the key on you just in case! Host was very responsive and helped us out in no time at all. Besides that, I would highly recommend an SUV to get back to the location as the road is a little rough (I’d imagine getting a regular car back there would be difficult). Worth the stay!!

My favorite was the outdoor shower though. We had an amazing view of the moonrise from the location. A couple of coyotes wandered through the front yard as the moon was coming up. Very surreal experience. Would definitely stay longer next time.

The airstream and bathroom were both very clean and everything was well thought out. Loved watching the ground squirrels on the property and even had a small pack of coyotes stroll through. The hosts made sure to check in to make sure everything was going well. Will definitely be back!

The airstream is cozy and has everything you would need. The outdoor shower is really nice, being able to look out at nature. Also love the touch of providing yoga mats. One piece of advice… don’t shut the airstream door all the way and leave the key inside because the door got jammed and we were locked out! The hosts though are excellent and very responsive.

I am currently 5 months pregnant, so we did not want to camp and needed somewhere with amenities and that was comfortable- this definitely was a perfect location. The trailer felt a little smaller than what the pictures depicted, but I am not sure what the host could do about that. It was a little more of a glamping vibe, so just make sure that is what you are looking for. Overall it was great. I would definitely stay there again. It is peaceful, however only ~10mn driving from the city center with visitor center, restaurants, gas station. The interior space is optimally designed, the deck is comfy, and the bathroom very clean. It is ideally located on the way to the West entrance to the park.

March 2025Loved every second of staying in this little desert oasis. It’s very close to both the town centre and the national park. I got out to do lots of sight seeing and activity, but also spent a good amount of time at the airstream because it was so serene and relaxing. Watching sunrises from the loungers, breakfasts on the patio, the outdoor shower in the sun, and cosy nights in reading were soul nourishing. I will be back! Thank you.

December 2024I really enjoyed staying here - the views, the big patio and chairs, the grill, the outdoor shower and the separate indoor shower were all lovely and the interior was simple and cute. It was a great place to rest on its own and as a home base to explore Joshua Tree Park. Star gazing was just as good as in the park, after the line of cars exiting the park has dissipated :) The hosts were very responsive!
